NICF - Introduction to Networking and Wireless Networking

Course Objective:


                  

This course aims to teach from scratch networking theory and network implementation specially designed for Small Office, Home Office and home networking environments. At the end of the course participants will acquire the skill sets to install, configure, and troubleshoot basic networking and wireless networking.
Participants will also learn how to troubleshoot common email & internet connecitivity problems.
Participants will learn about potential threats in the network and internet and how to mitigate against these threats.


Who Should Attend:
Participants who are keen in network and wireless network implementation & troubleshooting. The course is ideal for beginners and users, teachers and/or students new to networking. It is the ideal step for anyone who wish to move into the IT industry in the area of Network Support, Service and Technicians. Participants are able to set up Internet Sharing Network, sharing files and setting up of network printers and understand the security hazards and measures to take when surfing Internet, Internet banking and carry out transaction over Internet.

Certificate Of Attendance:
Certificate Of Attendance will be awarded to participants completing the course achieving minimum 75% attendance..

  • Practical hands-on sessions to enhance the networking concept
  • Well-designed lab sessions to enhance further understanding of the courseware

  • Training Duration:

    Full-Time : 3 Weekdays or 3 Sats
    Time : 9.30am - 5.30pm

    Part-Time : 6 sessions
    Time : 6.30pm - 10.00pm (twice a week)
