Cisco Certified
Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
validates associate-level knowledge and skills
required to secure Cisco networks. With a
CCNA Security certification, a network professional
demonstrates the skills required to develop
a security infrastructure, recognize threats
and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate
security threats. The CCNA Security curriculum
emphasizes core security technologies, the
installation, troubleshooting and monitoring
of network devices to maintain integrity,
confidentiality and availability of data and
devices, and competency in the technologies
that Cisco uses in its security structure.
Prerequisite:
Valid CCNA or any CCIE Certification can act
as a pre-requisite.
Certificate Of Attendance :
Certificate Of Attendance will be award to
students completing the course achieving minimum 75% attendance.
Training Duration:
Full-time: 5 weekdays or 5 Sats (9.30am - 5.30pm)
Part-time: 10 sessions, twice a week (7.00m to 10.00pm)
Training Methodology & Materials:
Practical hands-on sessions, 75% lab-based
and 25% theory-based.

Secure Cisco routers
Implement AAA on Cisco routers using local
router database and external ACS
Mitigate threats to Cisco routers and networks
using ACLs
Implement secure network management and
reporting
Mitigate common Layer 2 attacks
Implement the Cisco IOS firewall feature
set using SDM
Implement the Cisco IOS IPS feature set
using SDM
Implement site-to-site VPNs on Cisco Routers
using SDM
